Residential property prices up 22% from previous year

The index for the fourth quarter of 2023 reached 183.3.

The Residential Property Price Index of Mauritius (RPPI) is an indicator of how the prices of transacted residential properties (houses and apartments) have developed over time. The following data set presents the evolution of residential property prices up to the fourth quarter of 2023, with the year 2019 as the base period with a numerical value of 100.

Medine Group invests Rs 2.6 billion for Cascavelle Mall extension

Medine Group invests Rs 2.6 billion in the extension of Cascavelle Shopping Mall

The expansion work will triple the current size of the shopping centre, adding 19,500 m2 with the construction of a new wing between the current building and West Coast International School. The opening is scheduled for the end of 2025 with 66 new retail outlets planned as well as new leisure and catering offers.
